New SELT sign!
One of the newest SELT properties is the Charles E. Rand Memorial Forest in North Hampton, NH near the Rye, NH border. Consisting of just over 1 mile of trail it mostly follows old logging roads. There kiosk at the parking lot off of North Rd in North Hampton has one of SELT’s amazing well produced maps. Make sure to head over to Find My Trail’s Facebook page to see a great photosphere of the Charles E. Rand Memorial Forest Trails!

Charles E. Rand Memorial Forest Trail Map
Most of the yellow trail follows what seems to have been an old road or main logging road. The blue and red trails follow old ancillary logging roads. The trails reminded me very much of the Dalton Town Forest, also in North Hampton.
Old Logging Road Trails
This was one of the first hikes that my one year old was able to explore on his own two feet. It was very toddler friendly as the old logging roads were mostly level with little elevation gain and few tripping hazards. Although there were a few rogue roots along the way.
